Israeli artillery shelling targets agricultural areas in Quneitra

QUNEITRA, Syria (North Press) – The Israeli army on Tuesday shelled areas in the northern countryside of Quneitra in southern Syria, with no reports of casualties or material damage.

Local sources told North Press that Israeli artillery fired three shells at the outskirts of agricultural land near the village of Trinjeh in Quneitra countryside at dawn.

The sources said the shelling caused no human or material losses, but sparked panic among residents, particularly farmers heading to their fields at the ti me of the attack.

According to the sources, Israeli bombardments have become nearly a daily occurrence across different parts of Quneitra countryside, leaving residents increasingly concerned about a potential escalation that could threaten their agricultural lands, which serve as their primary source of income.
