Israel reinforces Lebanon, Syria borders after Iran strikes

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Israel announced on Saturday it is reinforcing its forces along the Lebanese and Syrian borders, following its strikes on Iran.

An Israeli military official stated that Israel is bolstering and supporting its troops along the entire length of its borders with Lebanon and Syria in the wake of the strikes on Iran.

“First local response teams in communities near Israel’s northern border have been activated, and patrols and security forces have been reinforced,” the official said.

He added that forces have also been strengthened on the country’s eastern and western borders, according to CNN.

The Israeli military official said, “We have carried out a significant expansion of search and rescue forces, with dozens of battalions deployed across the country.”
