QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Israeli shelling targeted on Wednesday a former regime military site between the villages of Jumla and Saysoun in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa, marking the second consecutive day of attacks, local sources reported.
A North Press correspondent cited a local source saying, “The shelling was carried out with two projectiles originating from the Golan, striking a site that belonged to former regime forces. No human casualties were reported.”
The source added that the same location had been hit the previous day, Tuesday, by four similar projectiles. The attacks have caused anxiety among residents of nearby villages, who fear that residential areas could be affected in future strikes.
No further details were provided regarding possible responses or escalation following the attacks.
