Israeli forces arrest 7 people during incursion in southern Syria

QUNEITRA, Syria (North Press) – Israeli forces arrested on Wednesday seven individuals during an incursion into the northern countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, local sources reported.

According to the sources, Israeli troops infiltrated the town of Jabata al-Khashab, north of Quneitra, early Wednesday morning and conducted raids on several residential homes, amid a heavy military presence in the area.

The sources added that the forces detained seven young men after thoroughly searching their homes. The detainees were reportedly transferred to the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. No official reasons were given for the arrests.
