Turkish forces shell villages in Syria’s Manbij
MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces and their affiliated armed opposition factions, aka the Syrian National Army (SNA), launched on Wednesday night heavy artillery strikes on the northern countryside of Manbij, northern Syria.
Manbij Military Council, a component of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), said the shelling targeted six villages in the north of the city of Manbij.
The Council added that the villages targeted are al-Kawikli, Korhyuk, al-Yanli, al-Darj, al-Dandaniyah, and Tokhar.
The Council did not report any casualties or material damage from the strikes.
