Israeli airstrike on Damascus kills 9, injures 20
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – A military source from the Syrian government said on Sunday that nine people were killed and 20 others injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Sayyidah Zaynab district of Damascus.
Syria’s state-run news agency SANA cited a military spokesperson as saying that Israel “launched an aerial act of aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a residential building.”
The attack reportedly led to the killing of seven civilians, including women and children, and the injury of 20 others.
Extensive property damage was also reported, highlighting the impact on civilian areas.
