Turkish airstrikes on Asayish headquarters in NE Syria injure 8 people
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Eight people were injured on Saturday in consecutive Turkish airstrikes on the countryside of Qamishli and Hasakah in northeastern Syria.
Turkey targeted a headquarters of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) on the southern outskirts of the town of Amuda in the west of Qamishli.
Medical sources told North Press that the strike on the Asayish headquarters in Amuda injured eight civilians in the vicinity, who were subsequently taken to hospitals in Amuda and Qamishli.
Turkish aircraft also targeted a construction site in the town of Tel Tamr, north of Hasakah.
Meanwhile, multiple Turkish airstrikes hit the Girziro oil company in the countryside of Derik in far northeast Syria.
