Israeli strikes toll on Syria’s Hama rises to 18 dead, 37 injured

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Syrian Minister of Health Hassan al-Ghabash disclosed on Monday that the toll of the Israeli airstrikes on Hama Governorate, central Syria, has risen to over 18 dead, with at least 37 people injured.

According to Syria’s state-run news agency, SANA, the attacks inflicted significant damage on infrastructure, impacting electricity networks, water and telephone lines, sewage systems, roads, and equipment.  

Al-Ghabash said that the death toll from the strikes on the city of Masyaf, west of Hama, has risen to over 18, with at least 37 people injured.  

Following the assault, the health sector in Hama and the surrounding areas was placed on high alert to ensure medical services were swiftly provided to the wounded at Masyaf National Hospital and nearby facilities.

The airstrikes, which took place on Sunday night, hit several locations across Hama.
