Government shelling on Syria’s Idlib kills, injures 3 children
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Syrian government forces renewed on Sunday their shelling on areas in Idlib Governorate, northwestern Syria.
The shelling targeted the village of Benin in the southern countryside of Idlib, media outlets affiliated with the Syrian opposition said.
The shelling led to the killing of two children and the injury of another on the outskirts of the village of Maarat Naasan in the northern countryside of Idlib.
They added that similar shelling by the government forces targeted the villages of Kansafra, al-Bara, and Fatterah in the southern countryside of Idlib.
Mutual shelling between the government forces and the Syrian opposition in northwest Syria continue causing a state of security chaos and civilian casualties.
