Turkish drone targets Syria’s Tel Rifaat
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – Turkish drone targeted on Sunday morning the town of Tel Rifaat, in the northern countryside of Aleppo, causing material damage.
A local source from Tel Rifaat told North Press that the drone targeted a house on the vicinity of the town and caused material damage.
On the same day, Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) denounced the silence of US-led Global Coalition to Defeat Islamic State (ISIS) and Russia, as a guarantor country, towards Turkish consistent attacks against AANES-held areas.
A day before, a person was injured in a Turkish shelling on Tel Rifaat.
During the first half of 2023, Turkey attacked north Syria with 34 drone strikes, leaving behind 73 casualties, killing 44 individuals and injuring 29 others. The number of civilian victims constituted 27 percent of the total toll of victims.
