North Press documents 84 clashing incidents in Syria since start of 2023
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Monitoring and Documentation Department of North Press has recorded 84 fighting incidents in Syria since the beginning of 2023, including six incidents this month.
Clan infighting has claimed 74 lives since the beginning of this year, including nine in June.
Since the beginning of June, six incidents of fighting between civilians have been recorded in Syria, four of which took place in Deir ez-Zor, one in Idlib, and another in Aleppo. Nine victims were recorded, six of whom were killed and three others were injured.
In the 84 incidents, 170 people, including four women and five children, were injured throughout Syria.
Deir ez-Zor took the lead with 31 incidents recorded, followed by Aleppo with 16, Daraa with nine, and eight in Raqqa.
Four were recorded in Qamishli and Suwayda, three in Idlib, and two in Damascus and its countryside.
