Two civilians wounded in armed attack in western Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, unidentified gunmen shot at and wounded two civilians in the western countryside of Daraa, south Syria.

A local source told North Press, “The two young men, Muhammad Awad al-Khatib, 33, and Muhammad Ibrahim Muslim, 24, were wounded after being targeted, by unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle, in the town of al-Muzayrib in western Daraa.”

Both were transferred to the Tafas National Hospital in the western countryside of Daraa, the source said, adding that their condition is stable.

The source stated that the two young men, who hail from the city of Nawa in the western countryside of Daraa, are civilians and have joined no military formation.
