Lebanon calls for finding solution for Syrian refugees’ crisis

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Hector Hajar, Minister of Social Affairs of Lebanon, called for looking for serious solutions for the file of Syrian refugees in his country, as they should return home or they should be resettled in a third country.

This came during receiving a delegation of Europe headed by the European Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarčič.

Hajar informed the delegation about the necessity of organizing a conference to discuss this file.

During the visist, Lenarčič announced €60 million for the most vulnerable people in Lebanon, including Syrian refugees.

Syrian refugees, who make 1.5 million, live in informal settlements and collective shelters and go through severe and substandard conditions in Lebanon.
