Turkey bombards oil, gas fields in northeast Syria

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Turkish drones bombarded on Wednesday oil and gas fields in a town in the eastern countryside of the city of Qamishli in northeast Syria.

For the second time in a day, the Turkish drones targeted the vicinity of an oil field in the town of Terbe Spi (al-Qahtaniya), east of Qamishli.

An exclusive source told North Press that a Turkish drone launched three strikes on the vicinity of the village of al-Oda, causing material damage. 

After 15 minutes, another Turkish drone targeted Dijla oil field south of al-Jawadiyah town, east of Qamishli.

The Turkish airstrikes also hit a gas facility close to the village of Sweidiyah in Derik (al-Malikiyah) countryside, far northeast Syria.

The area witnesses intense fight of the drones, the source added.
