Russian airstrikes kills 100 extremists – Reconciliation Center

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Deputy Head of the Russian Coordination Center in Syria, Oleg Egorov, said Sunday that  the Russian Air Force targeted, with several raids, a camp for training “terrorists” in the northwestern countryside of Aleppo, killing about 100 people.

The center said, “100 extremists were killed in Russian airstrikes on a training camp for militants and an illegal command center in Qatmah in Afrin, northwestern Syria.”

The airstrikes, the center said, completely destroyed “the command center, stores of weapons and ammunition, and the camp headquarters, as well as 15 vehicles carrying heavy machine guns and rocket launchers.”

On September 18, the Russian Reconciliation Center said, “The Russian forces shelled a stronghold of al-Nusra Front organization [Hayat Tahrir al-Sham] in Idlib, killing 45 militants, including field commanders.”
