AANES records 15 new coronavirus infections in NE Syria
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) recorded on Monday 15 new infections of coronavirus.
The Health Board posted on its official Facebook account that the infections are 10 males and 5 females.
The infections are distributed as follows: Six in Derik (al-Malikiyah), five in Qamishli, three in Hasakah, and one in Girke Lege (Maabadah)
The board reported two recoveries for two women, one of them from Hasakah and the other in Qamishli.
On September 3, the Health Board recorded 21 new infections of coronavirus.
An official at Covid-19 (Jiyan) Hospital announced the state of alert due to the increasing numbers of coronavirus infections.
The total number of coronavirus infections in the AANES-held areas reached 39.116 confirmed cases, 1.578 deaths and 2.575 recovery cases.
