Syrian young man killed in southern Turkey

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Fares al-Ali, 21, a Syrian refugee from Idlib, northwest Syria, was stabbed to death on Saturday by Turkish young men in the city of Antakya, southern Turkey. 

Al-Ali was stabbed he was heading out of the stadium in the area of Nazilja, according to media reports.   

The Syrian young man descends from the village of Maarbalit in Zawiya Mountain, south of Idlib. He lost his father during the Syrian war years ago.

Days earlier, al-Ali faced a Turkish woman when he was working to be attacked later by six of her sons who stabbed him to death.

In June, Sultan al-Jebneh, 24, was also stabbed to death by Turkish young men in Istanbul. Al-Jebneh descended from the city of Homs.

Human rights sources confirmed at the time that the motives were “purely racist.”   

Another young man called, Samer Massas, from Aleppo, was killed on May 10 by Turkish young men in Hatay province southern Turkey due to “racist motives.”
