Turkish military convoy heads to Syria’s Aleppo
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces sent on Saturday more military reinforcements to the city of al-Bab in the eastern countryside of Aleppo Governorate, through al-Rai border crossing, north of Aleppo.
A military source told North Press that a Turkish military convoy included tanks, troop carriers and various ammunition passed through al-Rai crossing and headed to the contact lines in the vicinity of al-Bab.
The Turkish-backed Sultan Murad faction accompanied the convoy from the crossing to the city of al-Bab, the source added.
These military movements by Turkey and its affiliated armed opposition factions, also known as Syrian National Army (SNA), come in conjunction with Turkey’s threats to launch a new military operation in northern Syria.
On July 19, another Turkish military convoy entered Syria through al-Rai border crossing and headed to al-Bab.
