SDF denies being attacked in Syria’s northeast

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) denied on Saturday that they were subjected to a terrorist attack or that any of its members were injured in Raqqa, north Syria.

“The blast heard in the city of Tabqa this evening was of a bottle of gas,” Farhad Shami, director of the SDF Media Center, said on his Facebook.

“The news about a terrorist attack on our forces is groundless,” he added.

Shami said that some pro-Turkey pages spread false information about the injury of the SDF members in an attack on al-Mazra’ road in Raqqa.
