Israel witnesses three deadly attacks in a week

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Two of the five men killed by a Palestinian gunman in the central Israeli city of Bnei Brak east of Tel Aviv in an attack late on March 29 were Ukrainian nationals, Israeli police said on Wednesday.

According to the police statement, the two dead were foreigners from Ukraine, one of whom was 23 years old, and the second was 32 years old.

Five people were killed in gun attacks Tuesday near two different locations near the city of Tel Aviv, which marked the third deadly attack in Israel in a week, bringing the combined death toll to 11, excluding perpetrators, the Israeli authorities announced on Tuesday.

Palestinian social media users said that the perpetrator of the Tel Aviv attacks, which killed five Israeli settlers, was Dia’a Hamrasheh, a resident of the village of Ya’bad in Jenin, a former prisoner released from Israeli prisons.

Two Border Police officers  were killed in a shooting on Sunday in the northern city of Hadera, and it was later claimed by the Islamic State Organization (ISIS), and praised by Hezbollah.

Also four Israelis were killed and others were wounded by supporters of ISIS in the southern Israeli city of Beersheba, on March 22, in the deadliest terrorist attack on Israeli civilians since 2016.
