Iraq warns of ISIS prisons in northeast Syria
ERBIL, KRG, Iraq (North Press) – The Iraqi National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji warned on Thursday of the danger of Islamic State Organisation (ISIS) detention centers in northeast Syria.
Al-Araji said in a meeting with the EU ambassador Ville Varjola in Baghdad that the huge number of terrorists in SDF detention centers is a constant danger if the international community did not do its duties.
According to his office statement, al-Araji asked the EU to urge its members to repatriate their citizens from Hawl camp, while indicating to the escape of 20 dangerous detainees from Hasakah prison.
