Israeli missiles hit Syria’s Damascus

DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – On Monday morning, Israeli jets carried out airstrikes against targets near the Syrian capital, Damascus, Syria’s state-run news agency SANA reported.

The Syrian air defenses have repelled an Israeli missile aggression from east of Beirut, which directed some points in the vicinity of Damascus and downed some of the hostile missiles,” SANA said. 

The targets of the strikes were not immediately clear, and there were no immediate reports of casualties.

Israel continues targeting points in Syria, especially headquarters and armory related to Iranian-backed militias.
