Iraqi security forces kill suicide bomber in Baghdad

ERBIL, KRG, Iraq (North Press) – Iraqi security forces announced, on Saturday, the killing of a suicide bomber and the dismantling  of the suicide vest he wore in a storming of his site north of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

Joint security forces carried out the storm “based on intelligence information by Intelligence Department of Baghdad,”  Iraqi Security Media Cell said in a statement.

During the operation, the suicide bomber was killed and his suicide vest was dismantled.

The attacks, which were launched by the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) in different areas throughout the country, coincided with missile attacks via drones on the US bases and security sites during the past period.

These attacks are launched after formally announcing the end of the combat mission of the US-led Global Coalition forces in Iraq.
