Syria’s Raqqa countryside hit by Turkey and its affiliated factions

AIN ISSA, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the villages in the western countryside of the town of Ain Issa, north of Raqqa, northern Syria, were bombed by the Turkish forces and the affiliated opposition factions with several missiles.

“The bombing targeted the villages of Laqlaqo, al-Khalidiya and the M4 Highway, west of Ain Issa, with several shells,” North Press reported military sources.

“Dozens of shells have randomly fallen on those villages since the afternoon.”

Earlier this afternoon, the Turkish forces and the affiliated opposition factions bombed the vicinity of a condolence tent in the village of Laqlaqo, 31 km southwest of the city of Tel-Abyad.

The town of Ain Issa and the western villages of Tel Abyad and other areas in north and northeast Syria have been continuously hit, albeit sporadically, by the Turkish forces and their affiliated factions since controlling Tel Abyad and Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain).
