Turkey bombs Syria’s Raqqa countryside

AIN ISSA, Syria (North Press) – The Turkish forces and the affiliated armed opposition factions bombed on Tuesday the village of Zenobiya in the western countryside of Tel Abyad, north of Raqqa, northern Syria, with several missiles.

The village of Zenobiya, 25 km west of the city of Tel Abyad, was bombed with several shells, local sources told North Press.

“The bombing targeted agricultural lands near the village, without causing material damage or casualties,” the source said.

On December 23, a civilian was injured in the bombing of the Turkish forces and the opposition factions of the western countryside of the town of Ain Issa and the M4 Highway, north Syria.

The town of Ain Issa and the western villages of Tel Abyad and other areas in north and northeast Syria are continuously hit, albeit sporadically, by Turkish forces and the affiliated opposition factions.
