Russian aircrafts re-bomb opposition sites in Syria’s northwest

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, Russian warplanes bombed Turkish-backed opposition-held areas, west of Aleppo, at a time when the de-escalation zone in northwest Syria is witnessing a state of relative calm a week after Astana 17th round.

The Russian warplanes conducted three air strikes on the area between the city of Darat Izza, west of Aleppo, and the town of Termanin, north of Idlib, North Press reported eyewitnesses.

The Russian warplanes also raided some farms in the area, but only material damage was caused, according to the eyewitnesses.

In this context, the government forces bombed the opposition factions’ sites in the villages and towns of Fatterah, Kafr Oweid, Sfuhen in Zawiya Mountain, south of Idlib, sources of the opposition told North Press.

For the first time in more than a month, Russian warplanes carried out several raids on the outskirts of the city of Ma’arat Misrin, north of Idlib, yesterday.
