Iraqi warplanes kill 6 ISIS militants: Security Media Cell

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Iraqi Air Force killed six militants of the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) with an air strike in the west of the country, the Security Media Cell in Iraq said on Monday.

“The Joint Operations Command successfully spotted a hideout for ISIS militants in the Anbar desert,” it said in a statement.

“The operation took place at the behest of a drone of the Global Coalition, and the air strike was carried out by Iraqi F-16 planes,” the statement added.

“Six terrorists were killed in the strike, and the members of Fifth Division are searching the place for any other terrorist members, equipment or weapons,” it noted.
