103 new coronavirus infections recorded in Syrian government-held areas
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The media office of the Syrian Ministry of Health recorded yesterday five deaths and 103 new coronavirus infections in its areas of control.
The deaths were one each in Damascus, Homs, Latakia, Daraa, and Aleppo.
Meanwhile, the media office recorded 97 new recoveries.
The new infections were 20 in Tartus, 16 in Damascus, 15 each in Hama and Latakia, 8 each in Daraa and Hasakah, 6 in Rif Dimashq, and one infection in Quneitra.
The total toll of the confirmed coronavirus infections in government-held areas has come up to 48,068, including 2,744 deaths and 29,078 recoveries.
On November 28, the media office of the Syrian Ministry of Health recorded six deaths, 102 infections and 95 recoveries.
