102 new coronavirus cases recorded in Syrian government-held areas

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The media office of the Syrian Ministry of Health recorded, on Sunday, six deaths and 102 new coronavirus infections in its areas of control.

The deaths were one each in Suwayda, Damascus, Latakia, Tartus, Daraa and Aleppo.

Meanwhile, the media office recorded 95 new recoveries.

The new cases were 29 in Daraa, 16 in Damascus, 15 in Tartus, 12 in Rif Dimashq, 11 in Aleppo, 9 in Latakia, 7 in Quneitra, and three in Suwayda.

The total toll of the confirmed coronavirus infections in government-held areas has come up to 47,965 including 2,739 deaths and 28,981 recoveries.

On November 27, The government held areas recorded four deaths, 99 new infected cases, and 92 recoveries.
