Syrian government-held areas record 99 COVID-19 infections
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The media office of the Syrian Ministry of Health recorded, yesteday, four deaths and 99 new coronavirus infections in its areas of control.
The deaths were two in Suwayda, and one each in Damascus and Aleppo.
Meanwhile, the media office recorded 92 new recoveries.
The new cases were 38 in Tartus, 21 in Suwayda, 16 in Daraa, 12 in Damascus, 7 in Latakia, and 5 in Aleppo.
The total toll of the confirmed coronavirus infections in government-held areas has come up to 47,863, including 2,733 deaths and 28,886 recoveries.
The government held areas recorded on November 26 five deaths, 100 infected cases, and 95 recoveries.
