Israel and Iran cyber war expands

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Many civilians in Iran and Israel are currently affected by Israeli-Iranian cyberwar.

In Tehran, the Iranian capital, people wait in queues to be able to fill gasoline as Iranian fuel systems were hacked by Israeli cyber-attacks last month.

Days later, Iranian hackers assaulted Israeli Atraf, a site that offers geo-located dating services and a nightlife index, and posted details of the website users on public.

The two attacks carried out by both sides harmed the civilians.

The assault by Israel caused traffic jams and long lines at gas stations in Tehran. Iran managed to repair some pumps within days but the whole system took more time to be fixed.

The cyber-attacks by Iranian hackers caused concern among Atraf users and pushed an Israeli official to say that “Israeli citizens are experiencing cyber terrorism.”

“We have a cold war with Iran,” Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett told The Sunday Times.
