Syria’s northeast records 309 new coronavirus infections

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, the Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) announced the recording of 309 new coronavirus infections and 18 deaths in northeast Syria.

AANES’ Facebook page stated that two recoveries were recorded.

The new infections were 72 in Hasakah, 44 in Raqqa, 36 in Kobani, 34 in Tabqa, 32 in Deir ez-Zor, 30 in Manbij,28 in Derik,  7 each in Amuda, Girke Lege and Roj Camp, 6 in Remailan, 3 in Jil Agha, and 1 in Hawl Camp.

The total toll of coronavirus infections in Syria’s northeast has come up to 31,413 including 1,077 deaths, and 2,286 recoveries. 

On Wednesday, Heath Board of AANES recorded 213 new coronavirus infections and nine deaths.
