Unknown individuals commit three crimes in Syria’s Idlib
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – In less than 48 hours, the Idlib region, northwest Syria, witnessed three murders in separate incidents, in light of the continuing state of security chaos in the areas controlled by the Salvation Government of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS-formerly Jabhat al-Nusra).
On Monday morning, the Civil Defense Teams (White Helmets) exhumed the body of an unidentified man in his thirties after it was found left in agricultural lands on the Ras al-Husn-Harem road, north of Idlib, local sources told North Press.
Yesterday on Sunday, residents in the town of Atmeh, north of Idlib, found the body of an unidentified young man, killed near the Syrian-Turkish border.
The incident was preceded by the discovery of a similar body buried between the towns of al-Rasm and al-Mutla in the western countryside of Idlib, and it was transferred to the hospital in Jisr al-Shughur city, according to residents.
On September 20, unidentified gunmen assassinated a local official of the Salvation Government near the village of Tel al-Karamah, north of Idlib, 24 hours after being kidnapped.
