Unidentified individuals target government forces’ vehicle in Syria’s Daraa, casualties reported
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, five members of the government forces were wounded as their vehicle was targeted by an IED in the northern countryside of Daraa, southern Syria.
“Unidentified individuals exploded an IED in the outskirts of the village of al-Faq’I, north of Daraa, when a military vehicle of the Ninth Division of the government forces passed,” a local source in Daraa told North Press.
“The wounded were hospitalized, while the government forces launched a broad searching campaign in the area,” the source added.
The source pointed out that the government forces, stationed in the Brigade 43 near the town of Jibaba, shelled the outskirts of the al-Faq’i.
On September 12, the Central Committee in the western countryside of Daraa and the security committee of the government forces reached an agreement sponsored by Russia for the entry of the government forces to al-Yadouda town and the settlement of dozens of the wanted people.
