Turkish border guards beat four Syrian young men north of Hasakah
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, four young men from the city of Hasakah, were severely beaten by Turkish border guards (gendarmerie) while trying to cross the Syrian-Turkish border near the city of Derbasiya, northeast Syria.
“Four young men, who were in a miserable condition and with bruises on their bodies as a result of the brutal beating, arrived in the hospital on Wednesday morning,” a medical source at the Martyr Khabat Hospital in Derbasiya told North Press.
“The four young men are of residents of the city of Hasakahm” the source added.
The young men wanted to cross the border near the city of Derbasiya, before the Turkish gendarmerie arrested them and beat severely.
Late in August, the Turkish gendarmerie killed the young Salar Othman from the city of Qamishli, and Hamadi Abdulhussein from the town of Deshisha in Hasakah countryside, while they were trying to cross the border.
