Government forces bomb opposition’s sites in Syria’s northwest
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, Syrian government forces continued to bomb the Turkish-backed armed opposition factions’ sites in the countryside of Idlib and Aleppo in northwest Syria.
“Today, the government forces bombed the fortifications of the opposition in the towns of Kansafra and Balyon in the Zawiya Mountain area in the southern countryside of Idlib, with heavy artillery shells,” military sources of the opposition told North Press.
Many other positions near the towns of Tuqad, Tadel, Kafr Amma, and Kafr Ta’al in the western countryside of Aleppo were hit by the heavy artillery shells of the government forces in the 46th Regiments in that area.
Yesterday, two people were injured due to bombardment of the government forces on the western countryside of Aleppo. Another person was killed in a similar shelling while logging in an area, west of Idlib.
Last night, the al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room, which includes several factions, claimed that it targeted artillery emplacements of the government forces near the town of Urum al-Soghra in the western countryside of Aleppo, with mortars and heavy machine guns.
