DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, a member of the Central Committee in Daraa, said in an exclusive statement to North Press, that “the aim of the bombing of my house was to kill me.”
“I was in the same room that was bombed, and I got out of it, less than two minutes ago, and the strike was double, one on the second floor and the second on the first floor,” he added.
On Saturday evening, Iranian-backed pro-government factions shelled the house of Central Committee member Abdel Nasser al-Mahamid Abu Sharif in Daraa al-Balad with artillery.
The meeting between the Central Committee and the Russian Military Police was scheduled to take place tomorrow, Sunday, at al-Mahamid’s house, a special source in the Central Committee told North Press.
The meeting was scheduled to take place today between the Central Committee and Russian military police, before it was postponed by the latter for tomorrow, Sunday, the source added.
It is noteworthy that a new round of negotiations could start tomorrow, Sunday, between the Central Committee and the Russian side in Daraa al-Balad.
