Russian warplanes bomb opposition in Syria’s Idlib
IdLIB, Syria (North Press) – Military sources of the opposition said that Russian warplanes bombed the opposition’s sites in the vicinity of the towns of Ihsem and Mar’ayan in the Zawiya Mountain in the southern countryside of Idlib, northwest Syria, with high-explosive vacuum missiles.
The bombardment led to the injury of a person, said to be civilian and he was transferred to the medical points for treatment, the sources added.
The Russian airstrikes coincided with intense shelling by the Syrian government forces on the opposition in the countryside of Idlib and Hama.
The government forces also bombed the opposition’s sites near the towns of al-Bara and al-Moza in the Zawiya Mountain, with missile launchers.
From their positions in the Jurin Camp, the government forces bombed the fortifications of the opposition near the town of al-Hamidiyah in the Ghab Plain in the western countryside of Hama, with heavy artillery shells and mortars, according to the same sources.
In turn, the al-Fath al-Mubin Operations Room, which includes several armed factions, announced that it bombed the government forces’ operations room near the town Khirbat Hass in the southern countryside of Idlib, with an anti-tank missile.
