Syria’s northwest records 153 new coronavirus cases

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday , the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 153 new cases of coronavirus and 33 recoveries in the Idlib and Aleppo countryside, northwest Syria.

It indicated that it conducted tests for 710 suspected cases in its areas.

With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 24,941, including 692 deaths and 21,642 recoveries.

On Monday, the Syrian Interim Government announced the recording of 48 new cases of coronavirus and 165 recoveries in northwest Syria.
