Syria’s Autonomous Administration record 61 new coronavirus cases

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) announced the recording of 61 new cases of coronavirus in the regions of northeast Syria.

The infections were 11 in Hawl Camp, nine each in Raqqa, Manbij, and Tabqa, seven in Hasakah, five each in Kobani and  Qamishli, two in Shahba, one each in, and Amuda, Jil Agha, Newroz Camp and Derik.

The Health Board also recorded seven recoveries.

With the announcement of these new infections, the number of coronavirus cases in northeast Syria has risen to 18,036 including 732 deaths and 1,829 recoveries.
