Explosive device injures two people in Syria’s Jarablus
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, a soldier and a civilian were wounded, as a result of the explosion of an explosive device placed inside a military vehicle, in the cityof Jarablus, east of Aleppo, northern Syria.
The explosion took place in the car of Abu Hamza al-Juhaishi, a member of Sultan Murad Division, one of the Turkish-backed armed groups, a special source told North Press.
Al-Juhaishi was seriously injured in the explosion, while the civilian’s injury was minor, after which they were transferred to the city hospital.
The explosion took place near al-Hal Market on the Euphrates River road in the eastern neighborhood of the city, the source added.
On April 28, unidentified persons assassinated two members of an armed group while being in a shop in the city of Jarablus.
The city of Jarablus, east of Aleppo, has been under the control of Turkish-backed armed groups since 2017.
