Asayish announces removal of 110 homemade bombs in Syria’s Raqqa
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – The Internal Security Forces (Asayish) said on Friday that they removed 110 homemade bombs on Thursday in Raqqa.
The official Asayish website reported that its engineering teams went to the site after receiving a report from residents about the presence of foreign bodies in Badou neighborhood, in the middle of Raqqa.
The Asayish said that the bombs are of a fuse type and contained high explosive materials.
The Asayish indicated that the bombs are war remnants of the Islamic State (ISIS).
On Wednesday, residents of the southern neighborhoods of the city of Raqqa heard the sound of an explosion, which the Asayish said was a stun grenade, adding that its forces removed a missile of remnants of war from Saif al-Dawla neighborhood in the city.
