Syria’s northwest records 72 new coronavirus cases
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 72 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.
On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said it recorded 72 new cases of the virus and 26 recoveries, recording no deaths.
It indicated that it conducted tests for 546 suspected cases in its areas.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 22,362, including 661 deaths and 20,397 recoveries.
