SDF arrests ISIS members, dismantles booby traps in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, “two ISIS members were arrested and a car bomb and two explosive devices were seized by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Deir ez-Zor countryside, eastern Syria,” said the SDF media center.
This was “a continuation of the security operation that our forces carried out on the first day of Eid al-Fitr,” it added.
On Thursday, the SDF arrested 39 members of an ISIS cell that had planned to carry out terrorist attacks during Eid al-Fitr in the town of Shuhail in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor,
The Syrian Democratic Forces seized a large amount of weapons and documents they had, according to a previous statement by the SDF media center.
