Deaths and new coronavirus infections in Syria’s AANES areas

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press)-On Thursday, the Health Board of the Autonomous Administration announced the recording of seven deaths and 83 new cases of Coronavirus in the regions of northeast Syria.

The official Autonomous Administration account on Facebook cited Jiwan Mustafa, co-chair of the Health Board, saying that the deaths were a man from Hasakah, a man from Qamishli, and a man and woman from Manbij.”

Most of the infections today were in 17 in Tabqa, 16 in Hasakah, 13 in Deir ez-Zor, and 11 in Qamishli.

The rest of the infections were as the following: Raqqa 8, Hawl Camp 6, Derik 5, Kobani 3, Manbij 2, al-Shahba 1, and Newroz Camp 1.

The Health Board also recorded the recovery of three new infections.

The number of coronavirus cases in northeast Syria has risen to 16,911, including 694 deaths and 1,739 recoveries.
