Syria’s northwest records 28 new coronavirus cases

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 28 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.

On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said it recorded 28 new cases of the virus and 40 recoveries recording no deaths.

It indicated that it conducted tests for 391suspected cases in its areas.

With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 22,197, including 655 deaths and 20,236 recoveries.

On Sunday, Syria’s northwest recorded 26 new coronavirus infections and 12 recoveries.
