20 new coronavirus cases recorded in northwest Syria

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 20 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.

On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said it recorded 20 new cases of the virus and 11 recoveries.

It indicated that it conducted tests for 451 suspected cases in its areas.

With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 22,110, including 655 deaths and 20,110 recoveries.

On Wednesday, Syria’s northwest recorded 21 new coronavirus infections and 21 recoveries.
