Syria’s Health launches online platform to register for coronavirus vaccine
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Syrian Ministry of Health said it has launched an online platform to register for coronavirus vaccine.
“Those who want to have coronavirus vaccine can register in the platform, which includes all the instructions and required details,” Minister of Health, Hassan al-Ghabbash told the state news agency SANA.
“The vaccination priority is for the medical staff, people with chronic diseases and those aged over 55,” he added.
“The vaccine will be given for free, and the person’s reluctance to take the vaccine does not mean he will be deprived of,” he noted.
“So far, 2,500 workers of medical cadres were vaccinated as a first batch,” he pointed out.
Since April, Ministry of Health has received quantities of doses of coronavirus vaccination and is still receiving them in batches from several countries in cooperation with the World Health Organization.
