RAMALLAH, Palestine, (North Press) – Israeli army announced it had arrested the Palestinian perpetrator of Zaatarah operation last night, which led to the killing an Israeli and injured two others.
Last night, the Israeli young man, Goita, died of his wounds after being shot at Zaatara checkpoint, south of Nablus, at the beginning of this week.
A special Israeli force arrested Muntaser Shalabi, 44, in his family’s house in the town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah.
Shalabi got out of a car at Zaatara checkpoint and fired at a group of Israelis, then left the place in the car, which was found in Aqraba village later, and was tracked until he was found in the house in Silwad, where he was arrested.
Yesterday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the killing of the 16-year-old boy, Sa’eed Youssef Odeh, as a result of shooting by Israeli army in Odla, south of Nablus.
Local sources said, Israeli soldiers shot him directly at Odla crossroad, wounding him in the chest, and his death was officially announced shortly after his arrival at Rafidia Governmental Hospital.
Two other youths were wounded, one of them seriously, by Israeli army during clashes broke out at the Odla crossroad.
