23 new coronavirus cases recorded in northwest Syria
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 23 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.
On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said that it recorded 23 cases of the virus and 17 recoveries.
It indicated that it had conducted tests for 542 suspected cases in its areas.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 22,069 including 655 deaths and 20,078 recoveries.
On Monday, Syria’s northwest areas recorded 13 new coronavirus infections and 46 recoveries.
